Kushal is a partnership project between CREDAI Pune Metro and National Skill Development Corporation to upgrade skills of 100,000 construction workers in Pune in the next 10 years. The successful establishment of the programme is a direct result of the efforts of a dedicated team of developers. The unflinching commitment and perseverance of these developers along with their experience has helped them identify problems and create a unique training model. 

Mr. Satish Magar,PastPresident, CREDAI Pune Metro (now President CREDAI National), has been nurturing KUSHAL since its birth in April 2011and Mr. Rohit Gera, Vice President, CREDAI, keeps a bird’s eye view on all activities and provides guidance on a regular basis.
Mr Hemant Naiknavare,President CREDAI Pune Metro is the driving force behind Kushal’s success.
As a pilot project, Kushal is to up skill 20,000 construction workers within a span of 3 years
CREDAI Pune Metro, the managing committee, has nominated 5 members as Advisory Committee to overview the programme and a 10 member Steering Committee to execute and monitor the programme
The Steering Committee Members are all eminent names from the construction Industry of Pune. The Chairman of the Steering Committee is Mr. J. P. Shroff, Director, Shroff Group and the Vice Chairman is Mr. Ranjit Naiknavare of Naiknavare Developers Pvt Ltd. All Steering Committee members actively contribute their time and effort on an honorary basis. 

An implementation team consisting of 22 office staff members and 64 trainers, on the payroll of Kushal, is in place for execution of the project. All of this has been achieved in a span of 3+ years
In this span Kushal has been the recipient of 13 prestigious national and international awards

Kushal aims to be a pioneer in the field of construction workers’ skill training in India. Its vision is to replicate the model to help empower construction workers across the country with skills that will help them prosper.
ParshuramNaik Bricklaying candidate Trained by Kushal won the Medallion of Excellence .
43rd World skills competition was organized in Sao Paulo, Brazil from 11th to 16th August 2015. Trainee of KushalParshuramNaik who was trained in Pune by expert Mr.JaiprakashShroff Chairman Kushalwon a medal in bricklaying and brought pride to India.
 This year team of 29 participants in 27 skill categories represented India in this the team which was lead by Mr. DilipChenoy CEO NSDC.
Kushal had trained 2 competitors Mr.Tikam Singh for Tiling work and Mr.ParshuramNaik for Bricklaying. Both these candidates had won a bronze medal in Oceania NewZealand .
 Both the candidates were selected to participate in the world skills at Sao paolo .Mr.JaiprakashShroffexpertandMr.SameerBelvelkar  interpreter for bricklaying Mrs.PreranaKothale Expert and Mr.KapilTrimal interpreters or Tiling represented as team from Kushal .
Kushal is a social enterprise, a project for upskilling and training construction workforce which is a joint initiative CREDAI Pune Metro with NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation). Started four years ago and having already trained 20,000 construction workers, won 13 International, National and Government awards.Kushal is a pioneering on-job-on-site, earn-while-you-learn training program entailing zero wage loss for its trainees.
